Is Etna dangerous?
One of the most spectacular moments that an active volcano can give us is the eruption. Certainly the eruptions of Etna are not always spectacular but there are also moments that create destruction and fear.

Why is Etna so active?
The eruptions of Etna mark a historical moment, because they completely transform the territory by changing it both from a morphological and plant point of view.

If walking is your passion, however, delve into the magical trails that crisscross the entire Etna Nord slope.

The Etna caves are natural formations that are created during the eruption.

At the end of the eruption this process means that the solidified part remains perfectly as it had stopped, but the internal part empties completely creating these tunnels.

Most of these caves can be visited, it is always recommended to do so with an expert guide. Consider that they have lengths ranging from 50 meters up to 1 km, and several meters deep.
